Basketball Recap: Groves' Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Groves hadn't done well against Southeast Bulloch recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Groves Rebels came out on top against the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets by a score of 42-29. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-26 back in January.

It was another big night for Aniyah Wright, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Tamiya Washington, who put up eight points.

Groves' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Southeast Bulloch, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Groves didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 40-36 victory against Beach on the 4th. As for Southeast Bulloch, they will head out to challenge Jenkins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
