Volleyball Game Preview: Lyons Lions vs. Oak Park-River Forest Huskies

The Lyons Lions will take on the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lyons comes in on three and Oak Park-River Forest on five.

Lyons is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over York.

Lyons never let York on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Oak Park-River Forest narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Hinsdale Central 2-1.

Lyons better keep an eye on Edie Carroll. She was instrumental in Oak Park-River Forest's win, getting 12 assists and five digs. That's the most digs Carroll has posted over her last eight matches.

Oak Park-River Forest's win bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Lyons, their victory bumped their record up to 24-12.
