Softball Preview: North Vermilion Patriots vs. Iowa Yellowjackets
The North Vermilion Patriots will square off against the Iowa Yellowjackets on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Iowa, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over DeQuincy on Monday. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Ayla Stollsteimer made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
