Volleyball Recap: Ridge Community Comes Up Short

Ridge Community lost against Davenport on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bolts came up short against the Broncos, falling 3-0. The Bolts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-12.

Rihanna Jones paced Ridge Community's offense, picking up six kills. Jones got some help from Tae'Lor Slaughter and her 11 assists.

Ridge Community's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Davenport, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Ridge Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Lake Gibson on the 4th. As for Davenport, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Roosevelt Academy on the 4th.
