Volleyball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Danville can now relate to. They fell just short of the Rantoul Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

This is the second loss in a row for Danville and nudges their season record down to 4-24. As for Rantoul, their win bumped their record up to 16-17.

Danville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rantoul, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mahomet-Seymour on the 28th.
