Volleyball Recap: Sierra Grande Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sierra Grande lost against Primero back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

While Sierra Grande ultimately came up short, they really made Primero work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-9, 26-24.

Rylee Durham paced Sierra Grande's offense, picking up seven kills. Durham got some help from Audrianna Gerardo and her 15 assists. Aleigha Sanchez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sierra Grande has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Primero, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.

Sierra Grande didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Monte Vista on the 6th. As for Primero, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] on the 7th.
