There's no place like home for Trimble, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Miller Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Tomcats this season.

Trimble never let Miller on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 25-12.

Brooklyn Burdette paced Trimble's offense, picking up 12 kills. Burdette got some help from Abby Henry and her 18 assists. Bailee Bickley controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Trimble's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Miller, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Trimble will challenge Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Miller, they will face off against Bishop Rosecrans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
