Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 76-14 defeat at the hands of the Peoria Notre Dame Irish. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, the Chargers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Peoria Notre Dame, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 27-4.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-44 defeat against Champaign Central on the 11th. Peoria Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
