Basketball Game Preview: Elmwood Royals vs. Arlington Red Devils

The Elmwood Royals will head out to take on the Arlington Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Elmwood lost 53-33 to Woodmore on Monday. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Arlington hadn't done well against Cory-Rawson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Red Devils walked away with a 34-24 victory over the Fighting Hornets.

Elmwood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Arlington, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Everything went Elmwood's way against Arlington in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, as Elmwood made off with a 50-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
