Softball Recap: Cactus Shadows Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Cactus Shadows entered their tilt with ALA - Queen Creek on Wednesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They skirted past the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots 8-6.

Bailey Fitzmaurice was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and one stolen base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted over her last seven matches. Madi Handke also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Cactus Shadows was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are 5-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory got Cactus Shadows back to even at 7-7. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Cactus Shadows will host Lee Williams at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Saguaro at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
