It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seton Catholic can now relate to. They took a hard 73-55 fall against the Monroe Central Golden Bears on Saturday. The Cardinals' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyson Tremain, who went 5-for-7 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. Tremain is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Jason Moynihan was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Easton Foster was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards for Monroe Central. Another player making a difference was Justus Ullom, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds.

Seton Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Monroe Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Seton Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe Central, they will challenge Daleville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Daleville comes in on three and Monroe Central on six.
