Baseball Recap: South Florence Has No Trouble Against Camden

South Florence had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Camden Bulldogs with a sharp 14-7 victory on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bruins also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2018.

Gavin Jordan was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jordan was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

South Florence will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carolina Forest at 1:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Camden, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sumter at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th.
