Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Washington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .828. The last time their OBP was this high was back in September of 2023.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wheeler). They put the hurt on Marietta with a sharp 18-10 win on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
