Lewisburg Baptist Academy takes loss despite strong efforts from Dylan Wykle and Elijah Brookman

Recap: Lewisburg Baptist Academy Lions vs. Victory Baptist Academy Saints
The Lewisburg Baptist Academy Lions won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Victory Baptist Academy at home and fell 72-39. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lewisburg Baptist Academy in their matchups with Victory Baptist Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.
Elijah Brookman and Dylan Wykle certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Brookman scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and two steals, while Wykle scored 16 points. Brookman also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
Lewisburg Baptist Academy's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3. As for Victory Baptist Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewisburg Baptist Academy will challenge Beth Haven Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Baptist Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Morgantown Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Morgantown Christian Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
