Basketball Recap: Ketchikan Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Valley last Saturday, Ketchikan came back down to earth. The Ketchikan Kings were dealt a 52-23 loss at the hands of the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears on Thursday. The Kings haven't had much luck with the Crimson Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Ketchikan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Juneau-Douglas, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Juneau-Douglas beat Ketchikan by a score of 51-23 on Friday.
