Volleyball Game Preview: Mendon Unity Mustangs vs. Calhoun Warriors

The Mendon Unity Mustangs will face off against the Calhoun Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mendon Unity is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Monday, Mendon Unity was able to grind out a solid victory over Seymour, taking the game 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Calhoun, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Barry Western on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Calhoun got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 30-28.

Mendon Unity's record now sits at 17-3. As for Calhoun, their record is now 18-8.

Mendon Unity came up short against Calhoun in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
