Softball Recap: South Tahoe Comes Up Short

South Tahoe started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Lowry. They came up short against the Buckaroos on Tuesday, falling 14-1. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

South Tahoe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Campbell Mathews, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

South Tahoe's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lowry, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

South Tahoe will take on Truckee at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lowry, they will face off against Fernley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give Lowry their first taste of in-conference action this season.
