There's no place like home for Allentown Central Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They slipped by the William Allen Canaries 62-61 on Monday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Canaries are ranked 102nd).

Allentown Central Catholic pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for William Allen, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
