 Jefferson County had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by  a  24-6 margin over the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes. Jefferson County's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Beau Revord made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Revord was even better at the plate,  firing off two  home runs, two  additional RBI,  and  an  additional run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Briley Larue was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, four  additional RBI,  and a  double while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brody Carr, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.
 On Morristown-Hamblen East's side,  Carson Winstead stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2. Winstead has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Isaac Greene was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Jefferson County's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, their defeat was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 4-3.
 Jefferson County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Morristown-Hamblen East: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
