Volleyball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

After flying high against Estancia on Wednesday, Century came back down to earth. The Centurions came up short against the Savanna Rebels on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Centurions haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-22.

Savanna found their leader in freshman Arden Pheng, who had 11 digs and four assists.

Century's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Savanna, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season.

Century does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Savanna, they will take on Rancho Verde at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
