Basketball Recap: Okmulgee Triumphs

Okmulgee posted their closest victory since December 4, 2023 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Beggs Demons, sneaking past 66-64. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win snapped Okmulgee's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record. As for Beggs, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Okmulgee and Vian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for Beggs, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hilldale at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
