Denison-Schleswig was the 7-5 winner over Shenandoah when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Monarchs fell 9-5 to the Mustangs on Monday.

Denison-Schleswig's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Shenandoah, they moved to 8-14 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Denison-Schleswig is taking a road trip to take on Kuemper at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shenandoah, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-4 loss against Harlan on the 1st.
