Softball Recap: The Meadows School Mustangs vs. Cheyenne Desert Shields
The Meadows School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 35-20 to the Cheyenne Desert Shields.
The Meadows School got a massive performance out of Kate Verdirame, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Leighton Bekhor, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
The Meadows School's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Cheyenne, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
The Meadows School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cheyenne, they will head out on the road to square off against Western at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
