Baseball Game Preview: Colmesneil Bulldogs vs. Groveton Indians

The Colmesneil Bulldogs will challenge the Groveton Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Colmesneil: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Groveton has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Colmesneil came up short against Corrigan-Camden, falling 10-1.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Groveton finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hemphill. That makes it the first time this season the Indians have let down their home crowd.

Groveton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TY TORREGROSA, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that TORREGROSA hit this season.

Groveton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Colmesneil, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
