Soccer Game Preview: Memphis Business Academy vs. University

The Memphis Business Academy Execs will square off against the University Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Memphis Business Academy will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Memphis Business Academy's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against First Assembly Christian as they made off with an 8-0 win. Memphis Business Academy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Meanwhile, University came up short against Crosstown two weeks ago, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as University were already down 6-0.

Memphis Business Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five matchups. As for University, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Memphis Business Academy took their victory against University in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Execs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
