Basketball Recap: Clarke County Takes a Loss

Clarke County was the 45-43 winner over Strasburg when they last played one another on January 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Clarke County Eagles fell 43-34 to the Strasburg Rams on Tuesday. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Clarke County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Strasburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Clarke County will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Page County at 7:30 p.m. As for Strasburg, they and Luray will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
