Volleyball Game Preview: West Lafayette Red Devils vs. Peru Tigers

The West Lafayette Red Devils will take on the Peru Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lafayette will be strutting in after a win while Peru will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, West Lafayette earned a 3-1 victory over Pioneer. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 26-24, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Peru unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against Wabash, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since September 16th.

While Peru was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-18.

Peru's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for West Lafayette, their victory bumped their record up to 18-9.

Everything went West Lafayette's way against Peru in their previous meeting back in October of 2017, as West Lafayette made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
