The Foothill Tech Dragons will challenge the Royal Highlanders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Foothill Tech comes in on three and Royal on five.
On Friday, Foothill Tech made easy work of Cate and carried off a 12-2 victory. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Cooper Casey was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Robert Juker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Foothill Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Royal was able to grind out a solid win over Simi Valley on Friday, taking the game 6-2.
Royal gave Dustin Dunwoody the start and clearly made the right call: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. Dunwoody has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Noah Vasquez was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Royal's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Foothill Tech, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Foothill Tech hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. However, it's not like Royal struggles in that department as they've averaged .316. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
