Recap: Bray-Doyle vs. Paoli
On Friday, Paoli secured a 26-22 W over Bray-Doyle. The success made it back-to-back wins for Paoli.
Paoli got off to a sluggish start, posting 6 total points in the first half. That left them at a 6-22 disadvantage. In the second half, however, Paoli's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 0 points.
Senior Cache Gardner and junior Connor Crawford were among the main playmakers for Paoli as the former rushed for 149 yards and 1 touchdown and the latter rushed for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns. Crawford was a defensive playmaker as well with a menacing 4 sacks. On the defensive end, senior Jefferson Wheeler was a one-man blockade for Paoli with 4 sacks and 16 tackles. The victory bumped their record up to 2-1. The defeat dropped Bray-Doyle's record to 2-1.
Paoli will look to defend their home turf next week against Maud at 7:00 PM. As for Bray-Doyle, they will face off against Cyril.
