Football Recap: Marksville's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marksville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 20-8 victory over the Iota Bulldogs. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 35-34 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Marksville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Iota, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marksville will head out to face off against Port Barre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Iota, they will venture away from home to take on Pine Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
