Softball Game Preview: South Florence Bruins vs. Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles

The South Florence Bruins will challenge the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (South Florence 2.3, Pee Dee Academy 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Meanwhile, Pee Dee Academy entered their tilt with Laurence Manning Academy on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Swampcats.

Pee Dee Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for South Florence, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 14-4.
