Bagdad extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, bumping them up to 7-0. They walked away with a 71-58 victory over the Ray Bearcats. The Sultans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

As for Ray, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), they still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Ray still got an impressive performance from Seth Wade, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. Wade has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Rice, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards.

Bagdad wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-42 defeat against Northland Prep Academy on the 6th. As for Ray, they have also already played their next matchup, a 69-45 loss against Williams on the 9th.
