Noah Attas turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Saturday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bloomfield is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-13 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Attas and Bloomfield will look to defend their home field on Monday against Montclair Kimberley Academy at 4:00 p.m. The Bengals will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 211 places lower in New Jersey), but they're not letting that get them down.
