Preview: Carson Cougars vs. Robinson Bulldogs
Carson is 7-1 against Robinson since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Carson Cougars will play host again and welcome the Robinson Bulldogs, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Carson suffered a tough 47-27 defeat at the hands of Concord.
Caylee Snow was Carson's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Caylee Sheets held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Robinson had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 61-42 bruising from Charlotte Catholic last Friday.
Carson bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Carson against Robinson when the teams last played back in January of 2020 as the squad secured a 67-22 victory. Does Carson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Robinson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
