Basketball Recap: Schaeffer Academy Takes a Loss

Schaeffer Academy suffered their closest loss since February 12, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Grand Meadow Superlarks by a score of 64-62. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-62 back in January.

Schaeffer Academy now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Grand Meadow, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-14.

Schaeffer Academy and Grand Meadow could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Schaeffer Academy (ranked 289th) will meet Rushford-Peterson (ranked 93rd) at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Grand Meadow will square off against Southland at 7:15 p.m. on Monday down 319 places (382 vs. 63).
