Basketball Game Preview: Saint Francis Catholic Wolves vs. First Assembly Christian Academy Eagles

Saint Francis Catholic has won seven straight games at home, while First Assembly Christian Academy has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Saint Francis Catholic Wolves will welcome the First Assembly Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Saint Francis Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Bronson 75-40. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Saint Francis Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Collett, who went 10 for 21 on his way to 30 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Banks, who went 8 of 9 on his way to 21 points.

Meanwhile, everything went First Assembly Christian Academy's way against Open Bible Christian on Tuesday as First Assembly Christian Academy made off with a 53-33 win.

First Assembly Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Saint Francis Catholic, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
