Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Frederica Academy, Heritage Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since August 23, 2024.

Heritage Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 16-25, 25-19, 25-18, 15-11.

Despite the defeat, Coastal HomeSchool saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bethany Rennert had 15 digs.

Heritage Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Heritage Christian Academy will square off against Crossroads Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics on the 23rd.
