Baseball Recap: Hazen Comes Up Short

McCrory hit Hazen with a four-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets lost 9-1 to the Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on April 3rd.

Hazen has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for McCrory, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Hazen will look to defend their home field on Friday against Carlisle at 4:30 a.m. As for McCrory, they will take on Mills University Studies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
