The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Mark Norris and Mac Long. Long had a great game and rushed for 45 yards and three scores. Meanwhile, Norris did his best for the losing side, throwing for 284 yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one TD on the ground.
Tuscaloosa Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Bayside Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Davis Barnett and Norris. Barnett just won't slow down this season and has thrown 27 touchdowns while averaging 223.8 passing yards per game. Norris has been a dominant force too and has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 230.1 passing yards per game.
