Basketball Recap: Keaton Pratt's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Roscommon over Houghton Lake

Roscommon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houghton Lake Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-47 back in January.

Several Bucks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keaton Pratt, who went 9-for-20 on his way to 19 points and six boards. Pratt has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Landon Mann was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 11 points and three steals.

Roscommon's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Houghton Lake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.

Roscommon has already played their next match, a 76-44 defeat against McBain on the 14th. Houghton Lake has also already played their next contest (against Northern Michigan Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
