Thomasville and North Rowan are an even 4-4-1 against one another since October of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. Thomasville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Thomasville will bounce into Thursday's match after beating East Davidson, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Golden Eagles 3-2 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that Thomasville have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, North Rowan fell victim to Union Academy and their airtight defense last Wednesday. They lost 9-0 to the Cardinals. While losing is never fun, North Rowan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 518th, while Union Academy are ranked 134th).

North Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-3. As for Thomasville, their win bumped their record up to 10-4-4.

Everything went Thomasville's way against North Rowan in their previous meeting back in September, as Thomasville made off with a 5-0 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
