Basketball Recap: Cedar Hill Takes a Loss

Cedar Hill lost against Lancaster back in December of 2014 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cedar Hill Longhorns took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancaster Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Tigers are ranked 13th).

Cedar Hill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season. As for Lancaster, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5.

Cedar Hill will host Mesquite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Hill is facing Mesquite at the right time seeing as Mesquite is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Lancaster has already played their next match (against Skyline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
