Soccer Game Preview: Peachtree Ridge vs. Collins Hill

The Peachtree Ridge Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Collins Hill Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Peachtree Ridge is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Dacula on Friday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Collins Hill kept a clean sheet against Discovery on Friday. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Isa Ramirez was the driving force of Collins Hill's attack as she scored all three of Collins Hill's goals, bringing her season total up to four goals.

Collins Hill picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Peachtree Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Peachtree Ridge beat Collins Hill by a goal when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Peachtree Ridge since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
