Football Recap: Pomona Takes a Loss

Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 22-6 bruising from the Colony Titans.

Jaydeen Bravo threw for 89 yards on nine of 16 attempts. Belen Ibarra was her top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.

Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Colony, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Looking ahead, Pomona will welcome Azusa at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aztecs' defense has only allowed three points per game this season, so the Red Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Colony, they will head out on the road to challenge Chaffey at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
