Volleyball Game Preview: Cibola Raiders vs. Gila Ridge Hawks + Official Tickets

The Cibola Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Gila Ridge Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, it was close, but Cibola sidestepped Kofa for a 3-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Cibola had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 19-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Gila Ridge made easy work of San Luis on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Gila Ridge's record now sits at 20-9. As for Cibola, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-11.

Cibola suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Gila Ridge when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
