Basketball Game Preview: Covina Colts vs. Northview Vikings

Covina and Northview are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Covina Colts will take on the Northview Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Covina ended up a good deal behind West Covina and lost 41-27. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Northview waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 54-35. The Vikings pushed the score to 47-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers cut but never quite recovered from.

Northview is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Covina, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

Covina ended up a good deal behind Northview in their previous meeting on January 14th, losing 37-18. Can Covina avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
