Volleyball Recap: Bishop LeBlond Eagles vs. East Buchanan Bulldogs

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Bishop LeBlond and East Buchanan meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Bishop LeBlond actually scored more points across those three sets (71-64), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 12-25, 27-25.

Bishop LeBlond's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for East Buchanan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8-3 record this season.
