Volleyball Recap: Mia Varela and Addison Carrillo Secure Win for Eastlake + How To Watch

Eastlake entered their tilt with Pebble Hills on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Spartans 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-19.

Leading Eastlake to victory were Addison Carrillo and Mia Varela. Carrillo had 11 digs and two assists, while Varela had nine digs. That's the most digs Carrillo has posted since back in September.

Pebble Hills' loss came despite strong showings from Raelyn Shaver and Lauren Velez. Shaver had 26 assists and seven digs, while Velez had 16 digs and one assist. Shaver is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.

Eastlake's record is now 33-4. As for Pebble Hills, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-23.
