Lincoln-Way West and Marist squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lincoln-Way West had to settle for second. They took a 59-40 bruising from the Marist RedHawks. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln-Way West's defeat dropped their record down to 23-12. As for Marist, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

Lincoln-Way West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marist, they will take on Kenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kenwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Marist likes a good challenge.
