North was the 3-0 winner over Riverside when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The North Rangers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Beavers on Tuesday. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ava Mitchell, who had 20 digs. With that strong performance, Mitchell is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Latini, who had 12 digs.
Riverside found their leader in underclassman Julia Huffman, who had 21 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Huffman a new career-high. Marlee Pettine was another key player, getting 12 digs.
North's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Riverside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
North will head out to challenge Kenston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverside, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against South on the 2nd.
